SAN DIEGO SURF THANKSGIVING TOURNAMENT APPLICATION INFORMATION 2014
San Diego Surf Soccer Club announces the 6th Annual Surf Thanksgiving Tournament. The tournament will be held November 28 - November 30, 2014 for Boys and Girls U7-U15. The winners of U9 thru U14 age groups will receive a guaranteed acceptance into the Summer 2015 Surf Cup!
Early acceptance may be granted for teams traveling from outside Cal South, with the decision made within two (2) weeks after receiving the application. The application deadline is October 1, 2014.
Tournament Application Fees:
Entry Fees: $400 for U7 | $695 for U8-U10 | $895 for U11-U15
There will be an added transaction fee of 3% to your registration if a credit card is used. Echecks will not have transaction fees. Your credit card or bank account will be charged upon acceptance.
Hotel Requirements:
Teams using hotel rooms are required to obtain them from our approved hotel list, using the group reservation procedure established by the Surf Thanksgiving tournament and our hotel partners. This procedure is outlined in your acceptance email. Reservations can not be made until your team has been accepted.
Registration and Scheduling:
There will be a MANDATORY REGISTRATION one hour prior to your first game at your field. Failure to register will result in disqualification.
2014/2015 player identification cards, medical release forms, and shin guards are required for each player. For USYSA teams outside of Region 4, travel papers approved by your state association are required; for US Club, approved team rosters must be presented. For all teams, medical release forms are required. Game schedules will not be adjusted to accommodate individual teams or individual coach conflicts.
The earliest bracket games begin at 8:00 a.m. on Friday. The last final on Sunday will begin at 2:00 p.m. All 11 vs. 11 finals and most of the semifinals will be played Sunday at the polo fields during the culmination of the Surf College Cup.
